Players can create their own character and then select one of the 48 other characters to act as their general. Destiny mode has also been added to Xtreme Legends. The goal of Xtreme mode is to clear as many scenarios as possible without the automatic healing between missions that usually takes place in the game. This mode allows players to select any of the available 48 characters and head straight into a number of different scenarios.
