Visually, the ring itself is basic, boasting the look of the standard Golden Ring found in Skyrim proper. The mod, quite literally, adds an "Elden Ring " to the game, hidden in one of the pools near Dragonsreach, according to the mod's description. Over on Nexus Mods, a website dedicated to hosting mods for some of the most prominent games on PC, a new Skyrim mod has appeared simply dubbed "Elden Ring." Of course, this isn't a Skyrim conversion mod as some might be expecting. Of course, some players have taken their frustration a step further. Elden Ring has become meme fodder of the highest sort, creating an entire Reddit community that comes together to vent about how little information there is about the game. At this point, Elden Ring's reputation for revealing almost new information in the span of nearly two years far outweighs the pedigree of those crafting it.
